Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 May 2026
Learn & Grow Rich ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we store it, and what rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Learn & Grow Rich is an independent affiliate operating on the JIFU education platform, in partnership with VTG (Visionary Traders Group) for live trading sessions, and via Financial Self Defence (FSD) & FSD Legal for our sister Learn & Grow Debt Free service.
Data controller: Learn & Grow Rich, UK
Contact: learnangrowrich@gmail.com
2. What data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to run the site and respond to enquiries.
a) When you contact us
If you message us on WhatsApp (+44 7414 451461) or email (learnangrowrich@gmail.com), we receive and store your phone number / email address and the contents of your message. We process this to reply to you and provide our service.
Legal basis: legitimate interests + contract performance.
b) When you download the free ebook
To download the free ebook you complete a short form. We collect:
- Your first name (so we can personalise follow-up messages)
- Your email address (so we can send the ebook + a 5-email mini-course on trading basics)
- Your WhatsApp number with country code (so we can send a personal welcome message and answer questions)
- Your explicit consent (ticking the box) plus the timestamp of that consent
- Marketing attribution data (UTM source / medium / campaign parameters from the URL, plus the referring page) so we know which channel brought you in — this is automatic, not entered by you
This information is sent to our automation provider (Make.com) which forwards it to our email marketing platform (Mailchimp) and notifies us so we can personally reach out on WhatsApp. The Mailchimp record stores your name, email, WhatsApp number, consent source, and consent timestamp.
Legal basis: consent (you actively tick the consent checkbox before submission) and legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry).
What you receive: the ebook download link plus a 5-email educational sequence on trading basics. You can unsubscribe from the emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email, and you can ask us to remove your WhatsApp record by emailing us.
c) When you take the Financial Health Audit
If you complete the audit at /audit, you provide answers to 7 questions about your financial situation (income stability, monthly cashflow, total unsecured debts, payment status / arrears, savings, credit standing, 12-month goal). At the final step we collect:
- Your first name (for the personalised result screen and follow-up message)
- Your email address (so we can email your results and the recommended next step)
- Your WhatsApp number with country code (so we can follow up personally on your tailored recommendation)
- Your explicit consent plus the timestamp
- Your computed profile (e.g. "Ready to Grow", "Debt First", "Both Needed", "Stabilise First") plus your Financial Health Score (out of 18)
- Marketing attribution data (UTM parameters from the URL)
Your answers are sent to our automation provider (Make.com) which routes you to the relevant follow-up sequence in Mailchimp (tagged by profile) and notifies us so we can personally reach out via WhatsApp within 24 hours.
Legal basis: consent (you actively tick the consent checkbox before submission) plus legitimate interests (recommending appropriate resources based on your stated situation). The audit is not regulated financial advice — it is an educational tool to point you towards relevant resources within Learn & Grow Rich and Learn & Grow Debt Free.
d) When you use member onboarding pages (paid members only)
If you have an access key and use the start-here pages, the site:
- Generates an anonymous browser ID stored in your browser's local storage (not personally identifiable on its own — e.g.
m_a8f3b2_lc4n1k). - Stores your onboarding progress (which checkboxes you've ticked) in your browser's local storage so you can resume where you left off.
- If we have configured a webhook (Make.com or n8n), it sends events to that webhook so we can see members' progress and reach out if anyone gets stuck. Events include the anonymous ID, your tier, page name, step number, timestamp, and user-agent string. This tracking only fires after you accept it via our cookie banner.
- Additional events that may fire (also gated by cookie consent): which scanner strategy you opened, when you clicked a download link for MetaTrader 5 or Telegram, whether you saw or used the "pin this page" install prompt, and which example screenshots you clicked. These are aggregate engagement metrics — no message content, no broker login details, no trade data.
e) When you visit any page
Our hosting provider, IONOS, may log basic request data (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and abuse-prevention purposes, as is standard for all web hosts. See IONOS's privacy notice.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use the following:
- Essential storage — your member access key, onboarding progress, ebook-form-completed flag, and bookmark-CTA-dismissed flag are saved in your browser's local storage so the site works correctly (no tracking; cannot be disabled).
- Analytics / event tracking (non-essential) — if you accept our cookie banner, anonymous page views and engagement events (on both public pages and member pages) are sent to our webhook, logged against an anonymous browser ID. You can change your mind any time by clearing your browser's local storage.
- Advertising pixels (non-essential) — only after you accept cookies, we may load conversion-tracking pixels from Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest and LinkedIn so we can measure and improve our ads. Each platform has its own privacy policy.
- Marketing emails — separate from cookie tracking. You only receive emails if you submit the ebook form with the consent checkbox ticked. Unsubscribe link is in every email.
- Third-party — Google Fonts (loads fonts; logs your IP per Google's privacy policy); YouTube (sets cookies only when you click a video thumbnail to open the video on YouTube).
4. Third parties who may process your data
- IONOS — web hosting (UK/EU servers). Privacy notice.
- Make.com — automation provider that receives the ebook-capture form submission and our member-progress webhook events, then routes them on to other services. Privacy notice.
- Mailchimp (Intuit) — email marketing platform. Stores your first name, email, WhatsApp number, opt-in source and timestamp, and delivers the 5-email educational sequence. Privacy notice.
- Google Sheets (where configured) — where anonymised event log and ebook leads are mirrored for sponsor dashboard visibility.
- Google Fonts — font delivery.
- YouTube / Google — only when you click a tutorial video link.
- WhatsApp / Meta — if you message us on WhatsApp, or if you provide a WhatsApp number on the ebook form and we then send you a welcome message, Meta's privacy policy applies to that conversation. WhatsApp privacy policy.
We do not sell your data to anyone. We only share it with the providers above to deliver the service you've signed up for.
5. How long we keep your data
- Ebook subscribers in Mailchimp: kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Unsubscribed contacts are archived, then permanently deleted after 24 months of inactivity.
- WhatsApp conversations: as long as needed to provide our service, then up to 3 years for support reference. Removed sooner on request.
- Webhook event logs (Make.com / Google Sheets): up to 24 months, then purged.
- Make.com scenario logs: 7 days by default (we keep them short to minimise data retained).
- Local storage in your own browser: until you clear it (we have no access).
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten") — including immediate removal from Mailchimp and our WhatsApp contacts
- Object to processing or restrict it
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time — click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send
- Withdraw consent at any time (for cookie-based tracking, clear your browser storage; for marketing emails, unsubscribe; for WhatsApp, ask us to remove your number)
- Request data portability (we'll send you a copy of the data we hold on you)
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk
To exercise any of these rights, email learnangrowrich@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
Our site is served over HTTPS. We rely on IONOS for infrastructure security. We do not store payment details (payments for JIFU / PU Prime / FSD go directly through those providers' systems, never through us).
8. Children
Our services are not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to active members via WhatsApp or email.
